Uppercut and Air Combos
Press Guard + Punch to unleash a powerful Uppercut that launches your opponent into the air.
Quickly press Jump afterward to follow up with a devastating Air Combo!
Counter Attack
Press Guard + Kick to unleash a Counter Attack.
While countering, you gain extra armor, and some projectiles can be pushed back.
Special Move System
In Ultraman Rumble 4, you can perform special moves anytime as long as you have enough MP. Chain skills consecutively after attacks or other skills—but be careful: if a skill is interrupted, the MP is still consumed.
Armor and Armor Break
Some special moves grant your character Super Armor. While in this state, you take reduced damage and cannot be staggered. However, beware—powerful special moves can break through your armor.
Run, Tackle, Jump Kick
- Double-tap the movement stick to start running.
- Punch while running → Perform a Tackle.
- Kick while running → Perform a Jump Kick.
Level up, Promote, Equip card
- Upgrade: Increases your character’s HP and Damage.
- Promote with Shade: Raises your character’s max level.
- Equip Cards: Each character can equip up to 3 cards. Higher-tier cards grant powerful boosts to unleash devastating strength.
